Today's story could be
the basis of a fun speaking activity. Have part of the class focus on
the statements of Governor Apirak and those supporting him (Mr Abhisit
and Mr Sirichoke). Have them prepare to present and defend Mr Apirak's
case orally. Have other students focus on the statements by those
associated with the PPP (Chatuporn Promphan , Chalerm Yubamrung
and Wichianchote Sukchoterat). Then have a discussion with
students airing the various points of view. I would suggest this be
rather informal with the students forcefully presenting their points,
debating back and forth.
