Transnational crime involving foreign gangs and criminals rising in Thailand

Nine
types of transnational
crime
have been found recently in Thailand. Here are some of them: 1. Street pilfering by
Cambodians and Vietnamese
2. Hacking of ATM card information by Malaysian gangs. The gangs install fake card slots at ATMs. Card holders' information is then stolen by tiny skimmers inside the slots and small cameras hidden above can record people entering their PINs.
3. An Argentine thief followed a gold and jewellery businessman to his car and stole gold and cash worth 4 million baht. The thief was later arrested at a Pattaya beach.
4. At luxury hotels Iranians and Pakistanis disguise themselves as guests, break into hotel room safes and steal valuables from wealthy individuals.
5. A Taiwanese gang allegedly colluded with a Thai man in a tax refund scam.

In the last three weeks there have been three cases of alleged transnational crime reported. The Transnational Crime Centre of the CoordinationCentral Investigation Bureau is in charge of investigating these cases. Suspects have already been identified
These crimes are committed in as many as 50 different countries by gangs and criminals operating across international borders, so international cooperation will be essential in quickly and successfully resolve such cases. Several improvements in law enforcement are needed including:

a safe - a strong locked box used to protect valuable objects against theft, fire, or other damage (See Wikipedia) ตู้เซฟ
hotel room safes - small safes in hotel rooms to protect the valuables of guests เซฟใ้นห้องพักของโรงแรม
valuables - objects that have high value that a person owns and carries with them สิ่งของมีค่า

cooperate (verb ) - work with other people to help them achieve a goal ร่วมมือกัน
