Mr Ong-art, who oversees the PRD, said preparations have been made to carry this work out in three forms:

1. To provide a time slot for both the government and opposition whips to voice their opinions once a week;
2. To open forums for politicians in both the government and opposition blocs, academics, and members of non-government organisations to voice their economic, social and political views; and

He said there will not be a special programme arranged for the opposition because no one has been officially named opposition leader in the House of Representatives.

How long each programme lasts will depend on the size of the audience.

Mr Ong-art declined to comment when asked whether the red-shirts would be invited, saying only that the relevant authorities would decide this.
