Holding

holding (noun) - owning shares in a company

foreign holding - shares owned by foreigners
holding company - a company that only holds shares in other companies (usually with voting control of the other company)
shareholdings - company stock shares held

* This share purchase would increase Google's holdings of Microsoft by 5%.
