Defer, Deferral, Deferment

defer (verb) -
a. delay, arrange to happen later
b. accept another's opinion out of respect

deferral, deferment (noun) - a delay, arrangement to happen later

deferential (adjective) - respectful

deference (adjective)- respectful (because of power)


Example sentences:

* Individual Retirement Accounts allow you to defer taxes on income until you retire.
