Authorise, Authorisation

authorise (verb) - to give official permission for something to happen (or for someone to do something)

authorisation (noun)


Example sentences:

* It is well within his power to authorise these extra expenditures.

* You will need prior authorisation from your bank to make the funds transfer.

* He asked for authorisation to proceed with his plan.

* The president will probably refuse to authorise this increase in the budget.
