The Corruption Perceptions Index orders the countries of the world according to "the degree to which corruption is perceived to exist among public officials and politicians."
Corruption is defined as "the abuse of public office for private gain."
Thailand's world ranking of 63 is actually fairly low, low meaning not corrupt, placing Thailand third lowest in Southeast Asian:
